Galway Bohemians got their league campaign off to a great start with a hard fought win against Mervue.
Nathan Keane opened his account for the season from the spot after Sam Fegan was taken down. Mervue equalised just before half time with a free kick from outside the box. Sam Fegan restored Bohs lead when he was put through by Keane and Rian Coffey made it 3-1 when he pounced after the Mervue keeper saved a free kick from Keane. Mervue came back again to make it 3-2, but Bohs held firm and collected all three points. Fair play to Max Keville, who played his first game as keeper with the lads and had a great performance 👏
