Bohs went in level at half-time after dominating possession but failing to test the Barna keeper. A strong second-half response saw Bohs take control.

Mark Thornton won the ball deep in his own box  and powered forward to run the length of the pitch before slotting the ball past the BNF Keeper to score and settle the nerves. Soon after, Adam Cubbard played in Ruari McInerney, who finished neatly into the corner to make it 2–0.

Jake Greaney sealed the win with a brilliant free kick from just inside halfway Line Barna rarely threatened a Bohs defence of Keane, Greaney, Stapelton and Feeney that stood firm all game.
