⚽ Galway Bohemians U16 – Weekend Update ⚽️
It was a tough couple of days for our U16s this weekend, with two challenging cup games.
First up, a Connacht Trophy clash against Dunmore Town, where the lads showed great determination but were unlucky to come up short in a competitive game.
Just a day later, it was off to Sligo to face Strand Celtic, for a place in the open national draw of 32 in the Irish Trophy. Bohs competed well in the opening half but a deflected shot and the toll of two intense days saw Strand run out comfortable winners in the end.
Despite these setbacks, the club couldn’t be prouder. The boys have competed at the latter stages of both competitions and remain unbeaten locally.
Next up, all focus turns to an away trip to MacDara in the U16 Cup next week – let’s get behind the lads!
