A huge well done to our U12s who booked their place in the semi-finals after a thrilling penalty shootout win over Loughrea this morning!
Bohs led 1-0 at half-time but were never fully comfortable, with Loughrea finding an equaliser on 40 minutes. Our lads pushed hard for a winner, but the Loughrea keeper was in outstanding form.
Extra time followed a similar pattern, with Bohs on the front foot and Loughrea always a threat on the counter.
Penalties decided it, and Bohs held their nerve to win 3-2, with excellent finishes from Andrew Gallagher and Kyle Holland, before Jason Keane stepped up to confidently slot home the decisive kick 👏
We now look ahead to a semi-final clash against the winners of St Bernards vs Bearna na Forbacha
